I was just thinking what the luckiest thing in my life was and what the unluckiest thing in my life was. I came to the conclusion that I have been pretty lucky all my life. I could really find any major unlucky thing but I could definitely think of a lot of lucky things. Right now I’m only going to mention one lucky thing because that’s what this article is all about. That is that I have never been involved in any serious accident. All my life I have driven really fast and had lots of fun with all kinds of vehicles. First off I really used to love motorcycles and I did crazy things like races with friends down country lanes. Then when I got fed up with English winters I got a minivan with a bigger engine. Same thing. Even used to drink and drive quite a lot… before the laws came in that is.
Then I got an M.G. I won’t bore you anymore but you get the picture.
I had lots of near misses, but never really hurt myself. Of course these days I’m much more careful. All those years I don’t think I ever considered being involved in an accident. Really I can’t believe how dumb that really was. The point is I bet many people are like me.
